PRAYER FOR THE ICEJ

  1. Pray for the pilgrims around the Nations coming up to Jerusalem to Celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. Pray that the Lord would place a deep desire in the hearts of believers around the world to come to Jerusalem for this year’s Feast. That the would begin prepare spiritually to worship, bless Israel, and recognize what He is doing in this significant season. Let us pray for those making plans to attend, that God would help Pilgrims receive visas, provide the necessary finances, and remove every obstacle standing in the way of their journey. Please pray that believers would respond with faith to the biblical invitation to come before the Lord in Jerusalem (Joel 3:16).

  2. Please lift up the local Body of Christ in Israel during the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). Let us ask the Lord to draw believers from across Israel to join the nations at the ICEJ Feast of Tabernacles celebration. That there would be a true expression of the one new man. (Ephesians 2:15).

  3. Please pray over the finances of the ICEJ this year. Let us lift up the needs and finances of the ministry before the Lord. Let us ask Him to provide abundantly for the Feast. Pray for wisdom in every financial decision, for miraculous provision, and for every need to be met. “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)

  4. For peace and calm in Israel during the Feast. Ask the Lord to keep a calm and peace over the Land of Israel during Sukkot. May He protect Jerusalem, all of Israel, and all those travelling to the Feast. “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you.’” (Psalm 122:6)

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL AND THE NATIONS

  1. The time of repentance in Israel. According to the Jewish understanding the days from Rosh Hashana leading up to Yom Kippor are known as the Days of Awe. It is a time when the people of Israel are drawing close to God in repentance and humility. Let us pray that during this time the Lord would encounter the people and that He would be exalted in their midst as King.

  2. For upcoming elections in Israel. Ask God to guide Israelis as they elect new leaders. Pray for truth from the candidates. Ask God to raise up leaders with wisdom, courage and integrity. May the outcome serve God’s purposes for Israel. “For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.” (Romans 13:1)

  3. For Iran and her people. Ask God to bring new leaders into power in Iran who truly care for their people and seek peace with Israel. Pray for Iran’s underground Church, for God to protect pastors, house churches and new believers. Pray for more Iranians to encounter Jesus. “I will set My throne in Elam, and will destroy from there the king and the princes.” (Jeremiah 49:38)

Comments

The greatest prophecy yet to be fulfilled in the history of the modern restoration of Israel is the outpouring of the Spirit foretold by many prophets in Scripture (Ezekiel 36, 37; Isaiah 43; Zechariah 12:14). Let us pray that God will complete His work by the Holy Spirit in the Land of Israel at this time.
