PRAYER FOR THE ICEJ
Pray for an increase in registrations for this year’s Feast of Tabernacles. Ask the Lord to draw believers from the nations to Jerusalem with hearts prepared to worship Him, stand with Israel, and hear what He is saying in this significant season. Pray for open doors for those who are considering coming, that financial, travel, family, and other obstacles would be removed according to God’s will. May the Lord stir His people to respond to the biblical call to come up to Jerusalem and worship the King. (Joel 3:16)
Pray that the local Body of Christ in Israel would join us for the Feast this year. Ask the Lord to draw pastors, churches, congregations, and believers from across the land to participate with us in this gathering of the nations. Pray for unity and genuine fellowship between the local Church and believers coming from around the world, and that together we would lift up the name of Jesus and bless the people of Israel. (Ephesians 2:15)
Pray for the financial provision needed for the Feast of Tabernacles. Ask the Lord to provide abundantly for every need and to raise up individuals, churches, and partners who will faithfully give toward this gathering. Pray for wisdom in every financial decision, unexpected provision where it is needed, and that there would be no lack in carrying out everything the Lord has entrusted to us. “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
Pray for continued peace and stability in Israel throughout the Feast of Tabernacles. Ask the Lord to prevent any renewed war between Israel and Iran that would disrupt the gathering, and to protect Jerusalem, the nation of Israel, and all those travelling to the Feast. Pray that the Lord would establish His peace over the region, give wisdom to those in authority, and allow the Feast to proceed safely and without disruption, so that believers from the nations can gather in Jerusalem to worship the Lord. “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you.’” (Psalm 122:6)
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL AND THE NATIONS
Pray concerning the new Mecca Joint Defence Agreement between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Türkiye, and the changing security alignments in the Middle East. Ask the Lord to give wisdom and discernment to Israel’s leaders as new regional military and political partnerships develop. Pray that the Lord would protect Israel from any alignment or agreement in the region that could ultimately be detrimental to Israel’s security and well-being. Ask God to restrain every plan that would bring harm to Israel, expose hidden intentions, and establish His purposes for the nations of the Middle East. Pray that the Lord would guide the nations toward peace and stability rather than conflict, and that Israel would be protected and preserved according to His purposes. “The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.” (Psalm 33:11)
Pray for Iran and for transformation within its leadership. Ask the Lord to bring about a transformation in Iran’s leadership and to raise up rulers who will pursue peace, justice, and freedom for the Iranian people. Pray that the Lord would restrain every plan that would lead to further violence and instability in the region, and that His purposes for Iran would prevail. Pray especially for the protection, strengthening, and continued growth of the underground Church in Iran. Ask the Lord to give believers courage, wisdom, and boldness to proclaim the Gospel, while protecting pastors, house-church leaders, and new believers from arrest and persecution. Pray that even in this time of uncertainty, the Church would continue to grow and that many Iranians would encounter Jesus and come to faith in Him. “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, The foremost of their might. I will set my throne in Elam and will destroy from there the king and the princes.” (Jeremiah 49:35-39)
Pray for the upcoming elections in Israel. Ask the Lord to lead and guide the people of Israel as they prepare to choose the nation’s next leadership. Pray that Israelis would have wisdom, discernment, and clarity as they consider the parties and candidates, and that the Lord would sovereignly establish the leadership He has ordained for this season. Ask God to raise up leaders who will act with wisdom, courage, integrity, and a commitment to the security and well-being of the nation. Pray that the outcome of the elections would serve God’s purposes for Israel and that the nation’s leaders would seek the Lord’s wisdom as they lead Israel through the challenges ahead. “For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.” (Romans 13:1)
