Prayer Points for the month of Sivan (5786)

PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF SIVAN

1.     Pray that the Body of Christ would receive fresh understanding of the times and seasons, like the Sons of Issachar, knowing what their nations are supposed to do.

2.     Ask the Lord for a personal and corporate encounter with Him this month. Pray that prayer leaders and their teams would experience the holy ground of His presence.

3.     Pray for nations to be brought into covenant alignment with the Lord. Ask the Lord to raise up priestly intercessors in every nation who will stand in the gap.

4.     Declare over your nation: "All that the Lord has spoken, we will do." Pray for a renewal of covenant commitment in the church in your land.

5.     Pray in anticipation of Shavuot and Pentecost: ask the Lord for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon His people, just as on the day the Bride first received the Spirit of the Bridegroom.

PRAYER FOR THE ICEJ

6.     Pray for the ICEJ and especially for our leadership in Jerusalem as they continue to face spiritual opposition and growing pressures. Many staff members, intercessors, and leaders have been carrying heavy burdens in this season. Ask the Lord to strengthen, protect, and uphold them with renewed grace and endurance. “The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” (Exodus 14:14)

7.     Pray for the upcoming Jerusalem Summit from June 9–11. Ask the Lord to release a timely message that will encourage and awaken pastors, churches, and leaders around the world to stand boldly with Israel and remain faithful to His purposes. “For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace.” (Isaiah 62:1)

8.     Pray for the Lord’s direction and provision as the ICEJ seeks to establish a permanent building in the Land of Israel. Ask Him to open the right doors and lead every step according to His will and timing. “ Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” (Psalm 37:5)

9.     In recent months, new doors have opened for the ICEJ to help communities rebuilding near the Gaza border. Pray for the financial provision needed to support families, restore homes, and meet urgent needs in these areas. “Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, [b]supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.” (2 Corinthians 9:10)

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL AND THE NATIONS

10.  Pray for renewed momentum surrounding the Abraham Accords, that more nations in the Middle East would pursue peace, cooperation, and stronger relations with Israel. Ask the Lord to open doors for dialogue, stability, and reconciliation across the region. “Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed.” (Psalm 85:10)

11.  Pray for the protection of Israel’s borders, especially in the north and along the Mediterranean coast. Ask the Lord to watch over the nation, expose every hidden threat, and guard the people of Israel from violence and attack. “He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” (Psalm 121:4)

12.  Pray for wisdom and discernment for the leaders of Israel and the United States during this critical time concerning Iran. Ask the Lord to guide every decision, grant understanding in difficult negotiations, and lead them in paths that preserve peace and security. “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” (Proverbs 11:14)

13.  Pray for transformation and change within Iran’s leadership, that the Lord would raise up authorities who pursue justice, peace, and greater freedom for the people. Pray especially for protection and continued growth for the underground Church in Iran during this critical season. “Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the foremost of their might. I will set My throne in Elam, and will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says the Lord... ‘But it shall come to pass in the latter days: I will bring back the captives of Elam,’ says the Lord.” (Jeremiah 49:35, 38-39)

14.  Pray for new economic and trade opportunities to emerge across the Middle East, including future energy routes and regional partnerships that would bring stability and blessing to Israel and neighboring nations. Ask the Lord to guide these developments according to His purposes. “The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens.” (Deuteronomy 28:12)

15.  Pray for persecuted believers around the world, especially in nations such as Iran and Nigeria. Ask the Lord to strengthen and protect His people, give them boldness in the faith, and sustain the Church as it continues to grow in difficult circumstances. “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” (Revelation 2:10)

Comments

The greatest prophecy yet to be fulfilled in the history of the modern restoration of Israel is the outpouring of the Spirit foretold by many prophets in Scripture (Ezekiel 36, 37; Isaiah 43; Zechariah 12:14). Let us pray that God will complete His work by the Holy Spirit in the Land of Israel at this time.
