Jerusalem Summit Prayer Letter

Today marks the first day of the Jerusalem Summit (June 9-11) hosted by the ICEJ here in Jerusalem.

We are living in a decisive moment for the Church. Since the events of October 7, antisemitism has surged around the world at an alarming rate. At the same time, Israel is increasingly being delegitimized, not only politically, but also within theological discourse. Even within Evangelical and Charismatic circles, old doctrinal errors are re-emerging in new forms, and biblical clarity concerning Israel, covenant, and the Church is being challenged.

For this reason, Christian leaders, theologians, pastors, Bible teachers, and ministry leaders from around the world have gathered for the Jerusalem Summit. The purpose of this gathering is to equip leaders to understand and respond to modern antisemitism, restore biblical clarity concerning Israel and the Church, strengthen the Church’s theological witness, and provide practical tools that can be immediately implemented in churches, Bible schools, and leadership networks around the world.

As we begin this Summit, the Lord has drawn our attention to 2 Kings 13:14-19.

In this passage, the prophet Elisha instructed King Joash to take a bow and shoot an arrow eastward. After the king released the arrow, Elisha declared, “The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance.”

The arrow represented God’s victory being released into a specific battlefield.

In a similar way, we believe the Jerusalem Summit is an “arrow of the Lord’s victory” being released into one of the great spiritual battles of our generation. It is an arrow aimed directly at the growing confusion surrounding Israel, the spread of Replacement theology, and the rising tide of antisemitism that is affecting nations, churches, and institutions around the world.

The Summit is not merely an event. It is a strategic release of biblical truth into the heart of the Church. It is an opportunity for leaders to gain understanding, receive wisdom, and be equipped to teach others how to respond faithfully and biblically in this critical hour.

However, the lesson of 2 Kings 13 does not end with the shooting of the first arrow.

Afterward, Elisha instructed the king to strike the ground with the arrows. The king struck only three times and stops. Elisha was grieved because the king lacked the perseverance to continue striking until complete victory was secured.

This is a powerful reminder for us today.

The Jerusalem Summit is not about a single gathering. The summit itself is the arrow of victory released, but the work must continue afterward. The truth that is taught must continue to be preached, taught, shared, implemented, and multiplied. The striking must continue until the objective is accomplished.

We are praying not merely for a successful conference, but for a sustained movement of biblical truth that continues advancing until Replacement theology is defeated, antisemitism is exposed, and the Church is strengthened in its understanding of God’s purposes for Israel and the nations.

For this reason, we urge you to join us in prayer over the next three days June 9-11.

Prayer Directives

1. Pray for Divine Protection Over the Summit

Pray that the Lord would place His hedge of protection around every aspect of the summit, the ICEJ leadership, the speakers, and all the staff and participants. Also pray that the conflict between Israel, the USA, and Iran would remain quiet until the Summit finishes.

2. Pray for the Speakers and Presenters

Pray that the Holy Spirit would rest upon every speaker with wisdom, clarity and precision. Ask the Lord to help each presenter communicate exactly what He wants to release through them in a way that is concise, understandable and timely, bringing revelation and understanding to those who hear.

3. Pray for the Continual Striking of the Arrows

Pray that what is released during these days would not end when the Summit concludes. Ask the Lord to cause the messages, teachings and resources to continue multiplying through churches, ministries, Bible schools, and leadership networks around the world. Pray that the striking of the arrows would continue again and again until the intended objective is accomplished. Pray that the Lord would use this Summit to strike a victory blow against Replacement Theology in our churches and antisemitism in our generation.
